Congregation Beth Israel is a Conservative synagogue in Lebanon, Pennsylvania serving Jewish life in Lebanon and the surrounding counties of Dauphin, Berks, and Lancaster. The congregation welcomes Jews of all religious backgrounds as members and supports a full-time spiritual leader, a religious school, and Sisterhood. Its facility includes a 200-seat sanctuary, Sisterhood Hall, a gymnasium/social hall, a library/chapel, classrooms, and a study. Congregational life includes Musical Kabbalat Shabbat on Fridays, Shabbat services with community Kiddush, weekday prayer, and a Thursday morning minyan, with a cantor brought in for the High Holy Days.
