Christ Church is a historic church in Macon, Georgia, founded in 1825. Recognized as Macon’s first church and the mother church of the Diocese of Atlanta, it is the oldest church in both Macon and the Diocese. The congregation emphasizes baptismal vows centered on study, fellowship, worship, Communion, prayer, service, proclaiming the Good News, and striving for justice and peace.
