Islamic Society of Southern Texas

Islamic Society of Southern Texas is a nonprofit, non-political Muslim organization in Corpus Christi founded in 1995. Through Masjid AbulQasim, it provides daily prayers and Friday congregational prayers, including Jumu'ah khutbah, and offers classes on the basics of Islam, fiqh, and the life of the Prophet Muhammad. The organization also conducts Islamic outreach for those seeking an introduction to Islam and describes itself as a diverse, welcoming community serving Muslims and people of all faiths for religious, charitable, educational, and literary purposes.
