Congregation Beth Israel is a lay-led synagogue serving the Flint, Michigan area. Founded as Flint’s first Jewish religious institution, the congregation later moved to Flint Township in 1972 and, after selling its Calkins Road building in 2016, entered a space-sharing agreement with Temple Beth El in 2018. The congregation serves approximately 100 families and describes itself as a vibrant, cohesive, and highly active synagogue with a warm and welcoming spirit.
