Hammond Christian Reformed Church is a Christian Reformed congregation in Hammond, Indiana, with roots in earlier mission work supported by area Christian Reformed churches. In 1921, three nearby Christian Reformed churches formed the Hammond City Mission board to continue ministry in Hammond. In 1957, the supporting churches moved to establish a Christian Reformed church in Hammond and called its first ordained pastor. The North Hammond location was rebuilt multiple times to serve a growing congregation, and the congregation’s name was later changed from Hammond City Mission to Hammond Community Chapel.
