First Christian Church is a downtown Clarksville congregation founded in 1842, with a long history at the corner of Madison and Third Streets dating to its first permanent church building in 1851. The church highlights its historic roots while continuing its ministry in the twenty-first century. During worship, it provides a nursery for ages 0–3 and Children’s Church for preK through 5th grade after the children’s moment with the pastor.
