Al-Rahman Mosque, part of the Islamic Society of Greater Dayton, is a religious and community center focused on worship, learning, and service. The mosque supports spiritual growth and strengthens the local Muslim community through shared religious life, practical support, and outreach. Islamic education is a central part of its mission, including the Dar Al-Quran Hifz Program, launched June 23, 2024, for Qur’anic study and memorization under Imam Mahmoud Shaban and Imam Yousef Idris. With an emphasis on participation, volunteer involvement, and meeting essential community needs, the mosque reflects an active, service-oriented model of congregational life.
