Congregation Sharah Zedek is a fully egalitarian synagogue in Westerly, Rhode Island, with men and women sharing full ritual equality. The congregation has operated continuously for roughly ninety years, with the building housing two distinct groups: an Orthodox congregation on the lower level and a Conservative congregation in the upstairs sanctuary. In recent years, the congregation has become more active and has hosted several B’nai Mitzvah and weddings.
