Highland School of Dance is a dance school in Lakeland established in 1974. The school offers classes in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, hip-hop, musical theater, and acrobatics, with a program designed to nurture all levels of dance. Its stated mission is to provide strong dance education while fostering discipline, high moral standards, and a lifelong love of dance. In 2008, former student Hayley Amis-Stewart became the owner and director.
