Dance Place is a nonprofit center of dance activity in Washington, DC that presents performances, offers dance classes for adults and children, and provides arts education programs for youth. Founded by Carla Perlo and Steve Bloom as an educational and performing arts company touring public schools in the greater DC area, it later established a studio and theater in Adams Morgan and has continued supporting the creation and development of new dance work by artists and companies from Washington, DC and across the United States.
