Beth Israel Congregation Community is a longstanding Jewish congregation in Fayetteville, North Carolina, with more than a century of history and continued involvement from founding families. The congregation serves as a Jewish communal home rooted in local tradition while responding to the changing needs of its members. A central part of its identity is its connection to the military community, working with active-duty and reserve chaplains serving Jewish life on Fort Bragg to support holiday services and pastoral care for service members and veterans. Beth Israel also serves single soldiers and military families across the Sandhills, shaped by the diverse Jewish backgrounds represented in military life. Alongside its congregational life, it emphasizes Jewish continuity, interfaith connection, and engagement with the broader civic and religious life of Fayetteville. Since July 2019, the congregation has been led by Rabbi Dov Goldberg.
