Authentic Kung Fu Burleson is a traditional martial arts school in Burleson, Texas, focused on teaching Wing Chun Kuen in the Yip Man tradition alongside Yang-style Tai Chi for adults. Its instruction is rooted in a classical Chinese martial framework that combines structured technical training with the more internally focused practice of Tai Chi. The school’s Wing Chun program reflects Rustin’s long-term study beginning in 1999 under Sifu Steve Cottrell at Authentic Kung Fu in Fort Worth, as well as his seven years serving in rotation as an Assistant Instructor for weekend classes. His background also includes competitive recognition in Chi Sao and service as a judge at a martial arts championship. Serving Burleson, Crowley, and surrounding communities, the school is also partnering with Burleson ISD beginning in fall 2024 on a physical education substitution program for high school students.
