America Sevashram Sangha is a Hindu ashram and communal religious center in Jamaica, Queens, serving the New York State community within the wider Bharat Sevashram Sangha tradition. Guided by Hindu monks and supported by volunteers, it combines spiritual stewardship with ongoing community service. Following the passing of Swami Vidyanandaji Maharaj in 2015, Swami Shiveshwaranandaji Maharaj was appointed monk in charge and administrator, leading the ashram with the support of a revitalized committee and devoted members. The institution emphasizes continuity, discipline, openness, and a steady presence in the local community while carrying forward the values and lineage of its broader international parent organization.
