Great River Tendai Buddhist Sangha is a Buddhist temple community dedicated to practicing and sharing the teachings of Tendai-shu Buddhism in the Washington, DC metro area. The sangha includes members from Virginia, Maryland, and DC, and began holding regular Sunday weekly sangha services in February 2024 at Nipponzan Miyohoji Buddhist Temple DC. It is a branch of the Tendai Buddhist Institute and New York Betsuin in Canaan, New York.
