Bayside Church of Woodland is a church in Woodland, California, with deep local roots and a history shaped by continuity, collaboration, and long-term ministry. In 2006, The Gathering joined the Bayside Family of Churches and became Bayside Church of Woodland, connecting the church to a broader Sacramento-region network while maintaining its identity in Woodland. The church continues to partner with other Bayside churches in mission, giving, and strategic efforts. Its early direction was shaped by founding pastor John Withem, including an agreement with the Woodland School District to rent Pioneer High School as its meeting place. Since lead pastor Cory Johnson arrived in January 2014, the church has continued building on that foundation with a steady, community-focused presence.
