Legacy Martial Arts of Cleveland is a locally owned karate school in Cleveland, Tennessee specializing in traditional Okinawan-style Isshinryu Karate. The school offers classes for adults, teens, and children, with training that includes self-defense, kata, weapons, and sparring, as well as a class dedicated to the homeschool community. Originally purchased in 2018 from Caywood Karate Studio by Frank and Kelly Hamilton, the dojo emphasizes its longstanding Cleveland presence and direct Isshinryu lineage tracing to founder Grand Master Tatsuo Shimabuku through noted instructors including Harold Long, Tom Lewis, and current senior instructor Charlie Murray. Senior instructors include Charlie Murray, Kent Cumberton, Perry Singleton, and Darrel Morgan, supported by 11 additional black belts.
