DA Dance Center in Concord is a dance studio established in 1978 that has taught more than 20,000 students. The studio offers classes in ballet, pre-school dance, jazz, princess ballerinas, tap, contemporary, hip hop, special needs, pointe, lyrical, musical theatre, and improvisation. Formerly known as D’Ann’s Academy of Dance, the business evolved into The DA Dance Center and continues to be shaped by founder D’Ann behind the scenes. It is owned by Shawna Zimmerman, D’Ann’s daughter, and features a teaching staff with experience in the dance industry.
