Kunzang Chöling of Evansville is a Tibetan Buddhist center in Evansville, Indiana. The center offers practice and instruction in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition and is affiliated with Kunzang Palchen Ling monastery in Red Hook, New York, with roots in the Nyingma and Kagyu schools. Established in 2009 by Bardor Tulku Rinpoche, the group is facilitated locally by longtime students of Bardor Rinpoche. Its Sunday sessions follow a traditional Tibetan Buddhist format with chanted sadhana practice, sitting meditation, teaching, and book discussion, along with opening and closing prayers. The center also offers personal instruction for newcomers to meditation, and sangha members meet at other times for Guru Rinpoche tsok and other special puja practices. Teachers from Kunzang Palchen Ling visit Evansville regularly for teaching weekends, empowerments, and opportunities to take vows.
