Historic Mission Church is a historic Protestant church on Main Street in the eastern end of Mackinac Island’s historic downtown. Constructed in 1830 by the island’s first Protestant congregation, it is Michigan’s oldest surviving church building and the earliest surviving example of a New England style church in the Midwest. The church is open to the public and also serves as a wedding venue by reservation.
