Mandal Hall is operated by the Bhartiya Mandal Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization focused on preserving Gujarati heritage through cultural and religious events and community service in the San Francisco Bay Area. The hall has served San Francisco Gujaratis for decades as a gathering place for events including Raas Garbas, weddings, and Diwali and Holi celebrations. The foundation also emphasizes cultural awareness, mutual support, and carrying forward the legacy of one of the earliest Gujarati cultural organizations in the United States.
