High Desert Behavioral Health Urgent Care Center & Crisis Walk-In Center is a mental health crisis facility in Lancaster serving people in the Antelope Valley. Operated by Star View Behavioral Health on behalf of the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, it is designed to reduce the burden on hospital emergency rooms that are not equipped to handle mental health-related issues. The center includes a Crisis Walk-In Center open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. for individuals experiencing a crisis.
