First Congregational U.C.C. is a church in Chadron, Nebraska, where people have gathered for worship since 1885. Organized on August 23, 1885, the congregation dedicated its original church building on December 20, 1885, and completed a new church in 1959. The church welcomes all who seek faith, hope, love, and joy, and it supports the wider community by providing meeting space for numerous groups and donations for eligible outreach. It also played a historical role in local education through the establishment of Chadron Academy in 1888.
