East Texas Islamic Society (ETIS) is a 501(c) non-profit Islamic society in Tyler, Texas, established in 1988 to serve and support the Muslim community in East Texas and foster bridges with other faith communities. The organization developed mosque-based Islamic classes that grew with the area's Muslim families, leading to completion of a school building in 2003 where classes began meeting after its Eid ul Fitr opening ceremony.
