Friends Community Church

Friends Community Church is a church in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, with documented local historical significance. On December 29, 1912, it hosted evangelistic meetings led by Reverend George Bennard and Reverend Edward E. Mieras, drawing a crowd of more than three hundred people. Contemporary testimonies describe the church as the setting where Bennard and others played and sang all four stanzas of a new hymn during those services, with support from other local churches and a large choir.
