Center for Acupuncture and Healing Arts is a Des Moines acupuncture practice that has served the community since 2000. The business is co-owned by Katherine and Brendan. Katherine joined the Des Moines VA in 2001 and was the first licensed acupuncturist in the nation to provide acupuncture at a Veterans Hospital, specializing in pain management; at the time of her departure in 2015, the acupuncture clinic was the second busiest specialty clinic at the Des Moines VA. Katherine also maintains an active Registered Nurse license.
