Durango Shin Budo Kai Aikido is a nonprofit aikido dojo in Durango, Colorado offering fun, affordable classes and welcoming all humans. The dojo emphasizes self-mastery and non-violence, teaching aikido as real budo in which victory over others is not the goal. Instruction includes aikido and Ki development classes led by Chief Instructor Mark Winkworth, a co-founder of the dojo and a 6th-degree black belt, along with other instructors including Steve and Assistant Instructor Jenny Mason, a 3rd-degree black belt.
