Free State Dermatology is a solo dermatology practice in Lawrence, Kansas, led by Matthew G. Buxton, M.D. The practice provides adult and pediatric dermatology services. Dr. Buxton completed his general medicine internship and dermatology residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center, finishing in 1996. After seven years in a dermatology group, he opened Free State Dermatology in 2004 and has seen nearly 30,000 patients. He has also maintained membership in the American Academy of Dermatology for 27 years.
