Carl Yap's Center for Martial Arts is a martial arts school in Hixson, Tennessee led by Sifu Carl Yap. The school offers training in multiple martial arts styles, including Core Defensive Systems, a martial arts system developed by Carl Yap for everyday survival, as well as Filipino martial arts. Carl Yap began practicing martial arts at age 10, started training in Kung Fu and Filipino martial arts in 1999 under Master Terry Pollard, received his Sifu title in Kung Fu in 2014, and holds multiple black belts in various martial arts.
