Chinmaya Mission Austin is a Hindu temple and spiritual center established in 1988 in Austin, Texas. Its Sri Soma Sundareswara Temple is open to all and hosts regular Abhishekams, special Pujas, and observances of festivals and special events. As part of the global Chinmaya Mission family, it offers Vedanta-based programs for individuals of all ages, including weekly Bala Vihar and Shishu Vihar classes for children, satsangs and study groups for adults, Gita chanting and Swaranjali bhajan classes, and weekend Hindi, Sanskrit, and Kannada language classes. Its facility, Chinmaya Sundaram, was inaugurated on June 26, 2014.
