Center for Healthy Communities is a Northern California organization founded in 2001 that serves students and the broader community through more than 30 programs across California, including Chico State’s 12-county service area. Its work focuses on equitable access to health-related resources, including support connected to EBT/Food Stamps, farmers’ market resources, food and nutrition security in higher education, and contracted Registered Dietitian services provided in partnership with the Tehama County Health Services Agency WIC program.
