Ashland Zen Center

Ashland Zen Center is a Buddhist temple in Ashland, Oregon, serving since 1993 as a refuge for the study and practice of Zen Buddhism in the lineage of Suzuki Roshi. Grounded in Soto Zen, the center offers a place of spiritual discovery for people living within the realities of everyday life, emphasizing Zen as a lived and disciplined practice. It welcomes sincere inquiry while remaining rooted in tradition, with zazen instruction and a beginner’s introduction to Zen practice offered on Wednesday nights throughout the year. The center also reflects recognized continuity within North American Soto Zen through teachers associated with its 2004 Dharma Heritage recognition by the Soto Zen Buddhist Association.
