Duke Sports Sciences Institute (DSSI) is a Duke Health sports medicine facility in Durham offering a full range of sports-related services for athletes at every level. The institute provides the full spectrum of orthopaedic care with a mission to help patients improve their performance or return to play quickly. Duke Sports Medicine is active in the Durham, Orange, and Wake communities, cares for athletes in eight area high schools, and supports advances in injury prevention, concussion protocols, surgery recovery, and physical rehabilitation through education and research.
