Islamic Society of Central Louisiana is a mosque in Alexandria, Louisiana, serving the local Muslim community. The organization traces its roots to the early 1980s, when Muslim physicians and later Palestinian business owners settled in Alexandria. As the community grew to around twenty families by the early 1990s, members first gathered for Friday prayers in private homes, then rented a city hall on Bolton Avenue for Friday prayers and special occasions, before establishing the first dedicated masjid in Alexandria in a rented office on Parliament Drive. The society also features live and recorded videos, donation opportunities, and Believers Academy Sunday School registration.
