Albany Sanatani Mandir is a Hindu temple serving the Albany Capital Region and the growing local Bangladeshi Hindu community. Established as a member-owned, volunteer-driven, community-supported institution, it provides a shared spiritual home centered on Sanatan Dharma while fostering worship, cultural continuity, harmony, and communal belonging. Its presence is especially notable as the first Hindu temple in Bethlehem. The mandir has helped anchor a developing devotional life in the region, including the first Saraswati Puja in Albany in 2016 and the inaugural Durga Puja in 2021, reflecting its role as both a religious center and a cultural foundation for Hindu families in and around Albany.
