Carastar Health is a certified Community Mental Health Center serving Montgomery, Autauga, Elmore, and Lowndes counties in Alabama. The organization provides behavioral health services using a positive, individualized approach to care and collaborates with law enforcement, civic leaders, lawmakers, and community stakeholders. Carastar Health is certified by the Alabama Department of Mental Health, is a member of the National Council for Community Behavioral Health Care and the Alabama Council of Community Mental Health Boards, and is governed by a 24-member board appointed by local governments.
