Academy of Dance Arts is a Fishers dance studio founded in 1999 by ballet teacher Sue Van Voorhis. The studio emphasizes dance as a performing art, pairing high training standards with an encouraging, non-competitive, performance-centered environment. Instruction is grounded in a strong classical base and includes ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, hip-hop, Graham-based modern, Progressing Ballet Technique, and lyrical work that develops musicality, storytelling, and expressive performance. Its programs also reflect a commitment to inclusion through offerings such as Dance Abilities and Dancing Duos, supported in part by the ADA Booster Club.
