Faith Community Church is a nondenominational church in Gambrills, Maryland, near Annapolis. Founded in 1978, the church began when several families met regularly in prayer with the hope of establishing an independent Bible church in the area. It held its first service in September 1978 with Ed Regensburg as pastor, initially meeting at Johns Chapel in Gambrills and later at Arundel Senior High School before moving into its present facilities. The church describes its mission as following Christ, sharing hope, and uniting in love, and offers ministries for children, students, young adults, men, women, adults ages 55 and older, community groups, global partners, homeschool families, and music and tech service.
