Buddhism Friendship Association, also referred to in source materials as the International Buddhism Friendship Association and Enlightenment Temple, is a Buddhist temple in Chicago. Its history is tied to efforts by Vietnamese Chinese supporters who funded the building of a temple in north Chinatown near Argyle Street in 1992. Source notes also describe the Chicago temple as a sister temple of the Mid-America Buddhist Association.
