Austin Oaks Church is a Christian congregation in Austin, Texas with roots dating to 1892, when Swedish founding families began investing in their community. The church has been marked by both continuity and reinvention, including a major transition in 1990 when it chose to adapt rather than close, becoming First Evangelical Free Church and shifting services primarily to English. In 2017, Brandon Zieske was called as Lead Pastor during another significant season that included a move to its fourth location and the adoption of the name Austin Oaks Church. The congregation describes its mission as developing disciples so that emerging generations will be captivated by Jesus, with a broader vision of seeing Austin saturated with the gospel.
