Congregation Beth Israel is a vibrant, welcoming Reform Jewish congregation in the Valley with a history spanning more than a century. Rooted in tradition and committed to meaningful connections, it offers opportunities for learning, worship, community life, Camp Stein, and honoring heritage through Beth Israel Cemetery, a sacred resting place for the community since 1928. As of 2014, it was the oldest congregation in the Phoenix metropolitan area, and its original 1921–1922 Downtown Phoenix building is listed on both the city’s historic property register and the National Register of Historic Places.
