SMS Terms & Conditions

This document describes the terms and conditions for receiving SMS/text messages from Nusu Inc. ("Nusu", "we", "us", or "our").

Program Description

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive text messages from Nusu, you consent to receive the following types of messages:

• Account Verification: One-time passcodes (OTP) for secure login and account verification
• Security Alerts: Notifications about suspicious account activity or security-related events
• Support Communications: Responses to support inquiries you initiate
• Service Notifications: Important updates about your account or our services

We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

Consent

By providing your phone number and checking the SMS consent box during registration or account settings, you expressly agree to receive automated text messages from Nusu at the mobile phone number you provided. By opting in, you acknowledge and agree that:

Message frequency varies based on your account activity:

• Verification codes: Sent only when you request to log in or verify your identity
• Security alerts: Sent only when unusual activity is detected on your account
• Support messages: Sent only in response to your support inquiries

Message frequency varies depending on your login activity, security events, and support interactions. You may receive recurring automated messages related to account security and verification. We do not send marketing messages.

How to Opt Out

You can stop receiving text messages at any time by:

1. Replying STOP: Text STOP to any message you receive from us
2. Account Settings: Disable SMS notifications in your account settings at nusu.ai/account
3. Contact Support: Email us at help@nusu.ai

After you opt out, you will receive one final confirmation message.

Important: If you opt out of SMS, you may still receive one-time passcodes or critical security alerts required for account access. To fully disable SMS-based authentication, you must configure an alternative verification method in your account settings.

Costs and Carrier Charges

Message and data rates may apply. Nusu does not charge for text messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you for each text message you send or receive according to your mobile plan. Check with your carrier for details about your messaging plan.

Supported Carriers

Our SMS service is available on most major U.S. carriers. Carrier support may be limited in some areas. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Your phone number and messaging data are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your phone number or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Regulatory Compliance

This SMS program complies with:

• The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA)
• The Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA) Messaging Principles and Best Practices
• Applicable state laws regarding text messaging
