Congregation Zvi Jacob is an Orthodox Jewish synagogue in Utica, New York, formed in 1979 through the merger of Tifereth Zvi Congregation and House of Jacob, whose roots trace back to 1869 with Utica’s first permanent Orthodox Jewish synagogue. A small but active congregation, it includes a mix of young families and seniors, oversees several historic and active Jewish cemeteries in the community, and participates in local Jewish communal life. It is the only remaining Orthodox Jewish synagogue in Utica.
