Five Element Acupuncture, Qi Gong & Zero Balancing brings together acupuncture, energetic medicine, and hands-on therapeutic work in an integrative practice centered on balance. Led by a licensed acupuncture physician, the work draws from Five Element acupuncture and related natural therapies to address health as a dynamic relationship between body, mind, and vitality. The emphasis is not only on easing symptoms, but on restoring equilibrium in ways that support resilience, prevention, and recovery across every stage of life. Care is tailored to a wide range of concerns that often sit at the intersection of physical and emotional wellbeing.
Stress, fatigue, pain, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, addiction recovery, and the distinct needs of prenatal and postnatal support are all part of the practice’s scope. Treatment is designed to be gentle and nonpharmacologic, with an eye toward both immediate relief and longer-term rehabilitation. That approach makes room for people navigating acute discomfort as well as those managing chronic patterns that call for steadier, more layered support. At the core of the clinical work are acupuncture, Zero Balancing, and medical qi gong.
Around those foundations, treatment may incorporate moxibustion, cupping, and gua sha for tension release; massage and shiatsu for musculoskeletal alignment and soft-tissue function; and Zero Balancing for its focus on the relationship between skeletal structure and energy. Medical qi gong is both a therapeutic modality and a self-care practice, used to help cultivate and direct vital energy with greater awareness. Additional support may include meditation instruction and other mind-body techniques that deepen regulation and recovery.
The practice also incorporates selected naturopathic-style adjuncts when appropriate, including essential oils, homeopathic remedies, and Bach flower remedies, alongside nutritional guidance and a diet-oriented program called The Artful Kitchen. The overall treatment philosophy is individualized and layered, integrating multiple modalities according to the person and the presenting concern rather than relying on a single method. With a Master of Acupuncture, national board certification through NCCAOM, and advanced training in China, the clinician brings a broad, multidimensional understanding to care that is meant to function as either a holistic alternative or a thoughtful complement to conventional treatment.
