Youth engagement also has a defined place through regular MYG/JYG Sunday sessions, reinforcing the center’s role as a place where younger members of the community can gather consistently over time, with seasonal pauses during winter, summer, and Ramadan.

Qur’anic study is another clear pillar. The center’s Qur’an memorization class welcomes both youth and adults, reflecting an inclusive approach to sacred learning that encourages participants to strengthen memorization skills while deepening their relationship to the text. The mix of children, teenagers, parents, and adult learners suggests a community model in which religious education is shared across generations rather than segmented into isolated tracks.

That sense of responsibility extends beyond the classroom. The center’s food pantry serves more than 400 people each week, supported by increased supply from the LA Regional Food Bank.
