Buffalo Zen Dharma Community is a Zen Buddhist practice group in downtown Buffalo offering a weekly Tuesday night meditation program, monthly newcomer orientation, and instruction in zazen. The community practices at Westminster Presbyterian Church and is also working with Kenilworth United Church of Christ to develop more prolonged and intensive Zen Buddhist training opportunities. Its practice is rooted in the Mountains and Rivers Order, a Western Zen Buddhist lineage founded by John Daido Loori, Roshi.
