Insight Chicago Ravenswood is part of the Insight Chicago Meditation Community, a vipassana meditation organization active in Chicago since 1997. Its practice is based on mindfulness meditation within the Theravada Buddhist tradition, and it offers meditation groups, workshops, and retreats throughout the Chicago area, including sangha gatherings such as Sunday Night Meditation Sangha and Circle of Stillness Meditation Sangha.
