Anshe Sfard Kehillat Torah is a Modern Orthodox synagogue in Glendale, on Milwaukee’s North Shore. Founded in 1986 by 17 families and now home to roughly 100, the congregation is defined by active member participation in prayer, Torah reading, learning, and year-round programming. Its communal life centers on shared Shabbat and holiday observance, mutual support, and a strong sense of collective ownership. The synagogue also incorporates prayers for the IDF and the State of Israel and takes part in communal observances of Yom Yerushalayim and Yom Ha’atzmaut. Located within an eruv, it reflects an Orthodox synagogue community rooted in worship, study, and close communal bonds.
