Jennifer Pelton, PhD is a psychologist in Seattle who provides counseling, evaluation, and treatment for children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. She has specialized training in child clinical psychology and in working with neurodevelopmental, emotional, and behavioral concerns. Her background includes undergraduate study at Pomona College, a PhD in Child Clinical Psychology from the University of Georgia, a child clinical predoctoral internship at Stanford University School of Medicine, and a postdoctoral fellowship at Seattle Children’s Hospital and the University of Washington, where she specialized in eating disorders, depression, and anxiety. She also worked for five years as director of a University of Washington depression prevention study for teens transitioning to high school and has served as an instructor of Child Development for the UW School of Social Work.
