A Functional Medicine Healing is a Riverview, Florida practice focused on functional and integrative medicine through a whole-person approach. The practice views health as an interconnected system and emphasizes restoring balance across mind, body, and spirit rather than focusing only on isolated symptoms or diagnosis management. Its philosophy is shaped by founder Heather’s personal recovery through functional medicine, which led her to pursue this work after resolving melasma, regaining energy, and eliminating acid reflux over two years. Heather brings nursing and functional medicine training to the practice, holding a BSN from the University of South Florida, an MSN from the University of Florida, School of Applied Functional Medicine training completed in 2022, and certifications in BHRT, pellet therapy, and peptides earned in 2020.
