Dharma Jewel Monastery (法寶寺)

Dharma Jewel Monastery (法寶寺) is a Buddhist temple in Atlanta, Georgia focused on supporting the cultivation of practice rooted in Chan Buddhism. The monastery offers meditation classes that combine guided meditation with lectures on Buddhist principles, including topics such as the Ten Dharma Realms, the Bodhisattva ideal, the six paramitas, the Twelve Links of Interdependence, and the Four Foundations of Mindfulness, as well as study of texts including The Essence of Mahayana Practice and the Sutra of the Eight Realizations of Great Beings. It also holds monthly Buddhist ceremonies throughout the year to commemorate key events through sutra chanting and contemplative practice, and provides advanced Chan meditation and Buddhist contemplation classes for students who have completed earlier levels.
